Class Schedule

ATTENTION (important updates):

~All classes are cancelled on April 20th. The studio will be closed in observation of Easter Sunday. Thank you for your understanding.

~PLEASE NOTE:  GROUPON and LIVING SOCIAL vouchers may NOT be used for Hot Yoga classes on weeknights at 7pm! 6 and 12 class Groupon vouchers are ONLY good for NON-HEATED classes (except Power-Vinyasa on Tuesdays at 7pm). Hot Yoga Weekend Trial vouchers are good for 5 classes on Saturday and Sunday only. Please read the fine print on your voucher and please bring in your printed voucher. New clients only. These are introductory trial specials that may only be used one time. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

~Beginning May 6th through Oct. 21st, the Tuesday night 7pm Power-Vinyasa class will become a DONATION BASED class. What this means is that, for that length of time and class, we will not be accepting class cards, Groupons, Living Social vouchers or gift certificates. Instead, we hope you will join us in helping our instructor, Veronica, raise the money needed to fulfill her dream and mission of helping build a school in Malawi, Africa with the BuildOn foundation. We recommend the $10 class price, but whether you have $5, $10, less or more, any bit you can contribute will be appreciated. CLASS SCHEDULE & DESCRIPTIONS

SATURDAY

9 am-10:15 am ~ HOT FUSION FLOW ~ A combination of a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Power and Kundalini, created by The Twisted Monkey Guru and owner himself, Bill Henry. Arrive as early as 8:30 am to reserve your spot and acclimate to the heat (optional, but recommended). All levels welcomed.  Classes taught by Bill Sr. (Downstairs Yoga Studio)

11 am-12:15 pm ~ HOT FUSION FLOW~ A combination of a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Power and Kundalini, created by The Twisted Monkey Guru and owner himself, Bill Henry. Arrive as early as 10:30 am to reserve your spot and acclimate to the heat (optional, but recommended). SUNDAY

10 am-11 am ~ BARRE.DANCE.YOGA ~ Get ready for a total body workout! The hour will be broken up into toning exercises on the Ballet Barre, followed by aerobic style dance and we’ll finish with yoga to stretch and bring our heart rate back down. All levels welcomed. 11 am-12:15 pm ~ HOT FUSION FLOW ~ A combination of a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Power and Kundalini, created by The Twisted Monkey Guru and owner himself, Bill Henry. Arrive as early as 10:30 am to reserve your spot and acclimate to the heat (optional, but recommended). MONDAY

10 am- 11am ~ INTRO TO POWER YOGA ~ Power Yoga has recently gained popularity for its fitness-based approach to yoga. This class will introduce you to yoga as a workout. Focus is on strength and flexibility. All levels welcomed. Class taught by Dana. (Main Level Yoga Studio)

7 pm-8:15 pm ~ HOT FUSION FLOW ~ A combination of a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Power and Kundalini, created by The Twisted Monkey Guru and owner himself, Bill Henry. TUESDAY

10 am-11 amVINYASA FLOW- Vinyasa is a beloved flowing style of yoga where movement is lead by breath. Warming the body with Sun Salutations, we build solid foundations in pranayama, (breathing techniques) proper alignment, and setting your gaze (drishti). Build strength, balance and flexibility on and off your mat. This class is suitable for seasoned yogis as well as first timers! All levels welcomed. Class taught by Justine. (Main Level Yoga Studio)

4:30 pm – 5:30 pm ~ VINYASA for CYCLISTS & RUNNERS ~Unravel those hips and hammies; lengthen the quads and open the chest. This class focuses on all the areas we cyclists, runners, and other active folk need to loosen up the most. As always, with Vinyasa, we will be warming up the body with sun salutations as well as strengthening and balancing our entire bodies. Note: you do not have to be a cyclist or a runner to benefit from this class- if loosening the hips and legs is a goal, this class is perfect for you! Class taught by Justine. 5:45 pm-6:45 pm – PRE/POST NATAL YOGA – The best type of exercise for new mommies! Prepare your body for an easy labor. Learn poses and techniques that can help you sleep better, position your baby for birth, facilitate a natural birth and help you bounce right back after you deliver. Class is taught by Daniella, a Certified Birth Doula. (Main Level Yoga Studio)

7 pm-8:15 pmPOWER-VINYASA FLOW ~ Power class will move you through breath work, balances, core strength, and flexibility. Push your body to its edge, connect breath and movement, experience poses more deeply. Instructor will walk you through proper alignment and provide you with modifications to meet you at your level. Good class to be taken in combination with a regular hot yoga practice to maximize yoga’s benefits. All levels welcomed. Class taught by Veronica. (Main Level Yoga Studio) This class will be DONATION BASED only b/w May 6th and Oct. 21st. Sorry no class cards or vouchers accepted during that time.

7 pm-8:15pmHOT FUSION FLOW - Another night to sweat it out just added! A combination of a variety of yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Power and Kundalini. Temperatures rise to an average of 105 degrees. Arrive as early as 6:30 pm to reserve your spot and acclimate to the heat (optional, but recommended). All levels welcomed. Class taught by Daniella. (Downstairs Yoga Studio)

WEDNESDAY

10 am-11 am ~ INTRO TO HATHA ~Go back to where it all started. Learn the yoga fundamentals, proper alignment and breath. Great for beginners. All levels welcomed. Class taught by Susan. (Main Level Yoga Studio)

4:30 pm-5:15 pm ~ YOGA FOR KIDS ~ For children 5-10 years old. It’s never too soon to start yoga! Especially great for kids who are active in sports. Yoga will help prevent injuries and keep young spines flexible. Equally great for kids who are intimidated by the typical exercise class. Traditional yoga poses mixed in with some fun activities…they won’t even know they’re exercising! Class taught by Dana. (Main Level Yoga Studio)

5:45 pm-6:45 pm ~ GENTLE FUSION FLOW~ Slowed down flow. Breath centered. Poses are held a bit longer to experience them through your body, to connect with your movement. Instructor will walk you through proper alignment and modifications can be provided to meet you at your level. This is your time with your mat. Mellow and relaxing. Join us Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm to smooth out your week. Follow it up with our Power-Vinyasa Flow class at 7pm to re-energize and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. All levels welcomed. 7:15 pm -8:15 pm ~ Unwind and chill out your week with a cozy, candlelit room. Through a series of sun salutations and warrior postures we will shave off the tension and then reset ourselves at ease with longer and slower stretches to conclude. The perfect end to your evening. All levels welcomed. Class taught by Justine. (Main Level Yoga Studio)

FRIDAY

10 am- 10:45 am - MOMMY-N-ME YOGA SPRING SESSION~ 12 week session begins Friday March 21st! Come get your yoga on and bring your little one (ages 0-4) on any Friday b/w March 21st and June 6th at a drop-in rate of $10. Purchase the 12 week package for $90 and save (three free classes!). 

Workshops and Events Each month The Twisted Monkey will bring you a special Event, Class or Workshop. Info will be available in advance at the studio, our website, and on our Facebook page. Days, times and costs will vary. Sorry, class cards may not be used for special classes and events. 

Friday, May 2nd, 7pm-8:30pm….join us as we host our very first Yoga-Rhythmics workshop! Learn about this unique combination of yoga and interpretive dance and have some serious fun. Prepayment of $15 is required to reserve your spot. Info and sign-ups are available at the studio only, but will open up to the public soon…so stay tuned!
