Yoga, Pilates and More!

Our Main Level studio offers a variety of classes. If this is your first time at our studio, please note that reservations are not required….just arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out a registration form and secure your spot! Our instructors welcome all levels, but we ask that you please read the class descriptions below to find the best fit for your first class. (Please notify instructor if you have any injuries, pre-existing conditions or special circumstances.) From there we encourage you to explore other classes and instructors to find what works best for you. Please remove your shoes before entering the yoga room. You will practice barefoot. Cubbies are available to hold your belongings. Yoga mats, blocks and straps are also available for your use at no extra charge. Please bring your own reusable water bottle to help reduce waste. Thank you!

All Classes are just $10 each, drop-in rate!

*We often get asked about children attending classes. It is important to understand that kids have different needs as their bodies are still developing and growing. However, we understand you know your child best. If you are confident your child will be attentive in class and mindful of not being disruptive, we are  more than happy to welcome them to our beginners’ classes if they are at least 10 years of age. Thank you for your understanding. Please check our schedule for our seasonal Kid’s Yoga class!

 Mondays

9am-10am: Coming this Fall!

6pm-7pm: Mat Pilates with Rose. Pilates is a great compliment to a yoga practice or the perfect way to break that plateau. Rose will lead you through high energy exercises that are sure to fire up your core, helping you to burn fat, lean out and tone muscles.  All levels welcomed. No experience needed.

7:15pm-8:15pm: Intro to Yoga and Meditation with Sarah. Perfect class for the Beginning Yogi or Yogini. Learn basic pranayama (breathing techniques) and asanas (poses/postures) and experience a guided meditation and savasana (final resting pose). First half of class moves at a slow but continuous pace, incorporating traditional Hatha poses with more modern Vinyasa Flow and emphasizing the importance of breath awareness. Second half of class will focus on quieting the mind through meditation. Great place to start if you have little or no experience with yoga. Level I.

 Tuesdays

10:30am-11:30am: Vinyasa Flow with Justine. Vinyasa is a beloved flowing style of yoga where movement is led by breath. Warming the body with Sun Salutations, we build solid foundations in pranayama, proper alignment, and setting your gaze (drishti). Build strength, balance and flexibility on and off your mat. This class is suitable for seasoned yogis as well as first timers! Mixed Levels.

7:15-8:15pm: MyAsana Strong with Corinne. MyAsana Strong is a powerful and vigorous Vinyasa Flow class designed to link movement with breath and promote transformation – inside and out. Creative, and often challenging, sequencing of poses will strengthen and stretch you as well as improve your stamina. This class will leave you feeling wrung out, refreshed and rejuvenated. So you may fully benefit from Corinne’s offerings, yoga experience is recommended. Intermediate Level.

Wednesdays

9am-10am: Coming this Fall!

11am-12pm: Pre/Postnatal Yoga with Jessica- 6 week series!  It is said that yoga is one of the best ways to reduce physical and mental stress during pregnancy and in the postpartum phase. Practice and learn techniques that will help you reduce discomfort and pain, sleep better, feel better and even help you during labor and delivery and after baby. Infants not yet crawling or walking are welcomed! Classes start on June 22nd and end on July 27th. Registration is now closed. If you would like to drop-in, please email us at TwistedMonkeyYoga@gmail.com to reserve a spot. Cost is $15 per class. (Please note, refunds will not be issued after the first class. If you cancel before the first class there will be a $2 processing fee. Thank you.)

5:30pm-6:30pm: Warm Flow Wednesdays with Daniella. Curious about practicing yoga in the heat but hesitant to give it a try? Then you’ll definitely want to check out Warm Yoga. Daniella will guide us through a mixed levels class of mixed yoga styles practiced in an 85-90 degree room. The toasty temp will help warm up our muscles more quickly allowing a little more flexibility and some extra detoxification. Mixed Levels. Beginner-friendly.  (Please note: Tanya and Natalie will be subbing during the month of July.)

7pm-8pm: Gentle Flow with Tanya. This class is designed for beginning yogis or those looking for a slowed down flow. Tanya will guide you through a more gentle practice with opportunity to grow. Best part is a relaxing guided savasana (resting pose) to end the class right and reap all the benefits of your yoga practice. A great class to compliment our Intro classes and a nice end to your mid-week evening. Level I.

Thursdays

9:45am-10:45am: Surfset Fitness & Yoga series with Ashley starts June 30th. Due to the limited numbers of boards, you must pre-register for this class. 10:30am-11:30am: Coming this Fall!

7:15pm-8:15pm: Sunset Flow with Stephanie. Unwind your day and week through a slowed down flow of Sun Salutations and restorative poses. Release stress and reset, while still challenging your body through longer and slower stretches. Nice end to your evening. Mixed Levels. Beginner-friendly.

Fridays

9am-10am: Coming this Fall!

11am-12pm: Mommy-N-Me Yoga with Jessica – 6 Week Series! Let’s end the week with some family fun. Moms (or dads, or grandparents!) are welcomed to join us with their little one (ages 0-5yrs) for some fun family stretch time. Cost is $70 for 6 weeks. (No extra charge for additional child.) You must pre-register for this class. Classes start on June 24th and end on July 29th. Registration is now closed.  Saturdays

Tomorrow, July 23rd 10am-11am: Yoga in the Park with Kimmy/Sarah will be held at the studio due to high Temps in the forecast! All Summer long join us for some sunshine and stretch at Rockledge Park, just a short walk from the studio! This is a donation-based class with a $5-10 cash min. suggestion per person. Please bring your own mat and water. All levels are welcomed. Street parking on Rockledge Ave. Enter at Rockledge Ave (corner of Robbins Ave.) and please check-in at the Gazebo. Donations during the month of July will go to the OneOrlando fund to assist those affected by the tragedy in Orlando. Class will be moving up to 9am in August and donations will benefit PAWS. Last class TBD for Sept. (If it is raining, class will be moved to the studio.)

11:15am-12:15pm: Kids’ Yoga 5 week series with Sarah (ages 6-10) Summer Session is now closed. Kids Yoga will be offered again in the Fall. Stay tuned for details!
