Prenatal Yoga: Designed for expectant mothers, as well as those who have given birth and looking to get back into shape, this practice focuses on strength, flexibility, and breathing. Prenatal yoga incorporates modified, traditional postures and props to assist the pregnant woman. This practice is said to help alleviate aches and pains associated with pregnancy, as well as help prepare the body for delivery. Breathing exercises may also translate into a more positive labor and delivery experience, making yoga one of the best exercises for moms-to-be.
